ColorOffset captures the Chinese market

Officially introducing the new branch in Guangzhou on November 2, the German ink handling specialist BETZ Technologies GmbH (Marktheidenfeld/Germany) has further expanded its sales activities, enhancing its presence on the important Chinese market.
Founded in summer 2007 and operating under the name of BETZ Technologies GmbH Guangzhou, the company is already the second foreign BETZ branch in the Middle East or Far East after the BETZ Ink Systems Pvt. Ltd. foundation in India. BETZ Technologies as globally active group of companies with more than 25 representations abroad takes the rapid development of the markets in the Asian Pacific region into account.
In the market segments of newspapers and sheet-fed offset printing, BETZ expects further increase of business success through the comprehensive ColorOffset product range. BETZ Technologies can already boast a long reference list of projects which were successfully implemented jointly with the machine manufacturers KBA, Heidelberg and Goss as well as major ink producers. C&C Joint Printing Co. Ltd., Guangzhou Daily, Hangzhou Daily Press, Shaanxi Huashang, Sin Tao, Tianjin Newspaper, Wenhui Xinmin News or Zhejang Guangyu are but some of the most prominent printing companies and publishing houses in China. The on-site presence will not only further deepen the cooperation with the leading OEMs but also give a lot of competitive edges to the ultimate customers in China.
The four-person team of BETZ Technologies GmbH Guangzhou will push the globally renowned ink handling business divisions ColorPump, ColorTrans, ColorPro, ColorMove, ColorMix, ColorPress and ColorRest as well as inform about the newly developed blanket-washing installations BBC Hybrid.
In addition, the new BETZ branch offers professional technical support for service, maintenance and provision of spare parts. Embellished on a grand scale, the premises of BETZ Technologies in the southern Chinese province Guangzhou also allow targeted training and education measures for the various ColorOffset systems.
Representatives of the major manufacturers of presses and inks as well as numerous interested ultimate customers followed the invitation for the inauguration of BETZ Technologies GmbH Guangzhou. Ludwig E. Betz, head of the company, welcomed the guests and emphasized the significance of the branch on the Chinese growth market. The on-site presence was a necessity offering great chances to profit from the further development. The head of the company opened the ceremony using a highly symbolic ritual. China celebrated the Year of the Pig in 2007 for which the Chinese associate luck with the element of fire promising good business success.
