RMGT Printers Double Down with Second Investments

RMGT (RYOBI HMI Graphic Technology Ltd.), a global leader in LED-UV equipped sheetfed offset presses, solidified its North American presence in 2019 with a large number of existing RMGT printers investing in their second press. The strategic decision to merge and integrate the respective press manufacturing strengths of Ryobi Ltd. and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) led to a totally revamped RMGT product lineup in the fall of 2015. By eliminating just a few inches off the width of a 40-inch press, RMGT has created economies in footprint, staffing and consumables while still producing a full 8-up sheet and 16-page signature.

Batsios Labels invests in first Gallus label press

It is the third Gallus ECS 340 in Greece within three years: Batsios Labels installed its first Gallus press, a conventional label press for the production of self-adhesive labels. Besides to an increased productivity and widening up of substrate and color range, the Greek label printer reports that the investment is already paying off since its installation in May 2019.

Heidelberg with New Management Structure – Change in the Management Board

The Supervisory Board and Management Board of Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG (Heidelberg) have decided to reorganize and further streamline the management structure. The Management Board of the global market leader for innovative solutions and products in the printing industry will be reduced to two persons and will in future consist of CEO Rainer Hundsdörfer and CFO Marcus A. Wassenberg.
