Yellowstone Plastics invests in Fusion C press and Meridian anilox cleaner from PCMC

Paper Converting Machine Company (PCMC), part of Barry-Wehmiller, has announced the sale of a new Fusion C printing press and 2500 T Meridian laser anilox cleaner to Yellowstone Plastics (affiliated with Volm Companies), a supplier of flexible packaging located in Idaho Falls, Idaho. The 42-inch, 10-color Fusion C and the Meridian will be installed late in 2020.

Goss Graphic Systems (China) Co., Ltd Announces strategic cooperation for WISPRINT M-700 series

Beijing Zhongke Printing Co., Ltd. (herein after as Beijing Zhongke Printing) and Goss Graphic Systems (China) Co., Ltd. (herein after as GGSC) signed a strategic cooperation project with a total investment of more than CNY 100mil EUR 13mil. A first in China, the M-700s intelligent demonstration production line for book printing, will be located in Beijing Zhongke. Experts in the Chinese printing industry believe that the implementation of this new project will begin to challenge the local traditional book printing market.

Argentinian packaging holding, Envases Group, has aquired a Nilpeter FA-22 Multi-Substrate Press to further build on their leading status in the South American region. Envases Group has plants in Buenos Aires, San Luis and in Cartagena, Colombia, and specializes in aerosol aluminium and tinplate cans. Last year, the company launched a new pharmaceutical packaging division with the acquisition of the only roll-to-roll Hapa digital printer in Latin America.

Speedmaster from Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG (Heidelberg) has once again proven its reliability. Fifteen years ago, MM Polygrafoformlenie Packaging Company (MM POF), one of the biggest packaging printers in Russia, installed a Speedmaster XL 105 offset press. Till to date, the Speedmaster XL 105-6+L has printed over 736 million sheets that is, on average, it delivers more than 49 million sheets per year and more than 4 million sheets per month.
