QIPC-EAE and Koenig & Bauer announce cooperation

The logical next step for an already long-standing partnership: Koenig & Bauer is expanding its service portfolio. In cooperation with Q.I. Press Controls (QIPC) – EAE, Koenig & Bauer will in future be offering retrofits and technical service for presses with EAE controls or QI Optical measurement and control systems.

DCOS installs Omnicon retrofit and inspection system

In May 2020, DCOS inked a deal with Tryck i Norrbotten (Lule, Sweden) to future-proof their eight tower, single folder Goss Magnum press. The order includes a full DCOS package solution, replacing and retrofitting the complete Omnicon system, the shaftless drive system and the QTI Multicam system.

Rapida 106 double-coater press boosts performance by 30 per cent

Packaging producer Kroha from Miesbach in the south of Germany is a long-standing user of sheetfed offset presses from Koenig & Bauer. Just a year ago, one of two Rapida 106 presses dating from 2008 was replaced with a brand new model. This six-colour Rapida 106 in a double-coating configuration now bears the main workload in the print centre.
