At Royal Dutch Printing Ink Factories Van Son the “Natural Colours of Quickson” mark the introduction of the re-structured range of Quickson offset inks. The Quickson PRO process colours, recently introduced on the European market, are complemented with Quickson PLUS and Quickson FRESH process colours and the Quickson Series PANTONE basic colours. The Quickson inks can be used on virtually all kinds of presses and substrates.

Sappi has introduced two new products to its Parade range of speciality labelling papers at Drupa – Parade Prima High Gloss, suitable for prestige chocolate wrappers, cigarette soft packs, banderols, board lamination and dry goods labelling, and Parade Prima FS for face stock applications for self adhesive labelling such as VIP (Variable Information Printing) and point of sale/purchase labels. Both products are suitable for food applications.
M-real will curtail its production of coated fine papers between June and August to align production with expected market demand in Europe during the summer months, limit export volumes and control capital tied to inventories. Weak US dollar does not allow big volume increases in overseas market to compensate seasonally decreasing demand in Europe.
