At the Greif, Inc. (NYSE:GEF)(NYSE:GEF.B) annual meeting of stockholders on Feb. 25, Mark A. Emkes was elected to a one-year term on Greif’s Board of Directors.

M & F Worldwide Corp. Completes the Acquisition of Pearson’s Data Management Business

M & F Worldwide Corp. (NYSE:MFW) today announced that it has completed the previously announced acquisition of the Data Management business of Pearson plc for $225 million in cash, subject to post-closing adjustments. M & F Worldwide financed the acquisition with cash on hand.

BASF names Climate Protection Officer

Dr. Ulrich von Deessen (51) has been named the first Climate Protection Officer of BASF. As of May 1, 2008, he will also become the head of the global Competence Center Environment, Health and Safety as the successor of Ernst Schwanhold (59). Schwanhold will take over projects within BASF and will retire as of December 31, 2008.
