POLAR presents the fastest counterpressure die-cutter on the market

Friday 11. February 2022 - Innovation from Hofheim am Taunus: LabelSystem DCC-12 from POLAR Mohr impresses with the latest industrial control and a 25 per cent increase in efficiency. The system is presented at LabelExpo in Brussels. The new control system enables a 25 per cent increase in productivity.

POLAR LabelSystem DCC-12 is designed for the highly automated inline production of bundled die-cut labels made of compressible plastic materials such as OPP films for in-mould. The new control system enables a 25 per cent increase in productivity, with the new DCC-12 achieving an output of 10 cycles per minute. A remarkable output with minimum manpower. The system is thus also suitable for dual use; other die-cutters are not efficient enough for label printing on paper. The die cutter can be inspected at LabelExpo in Brussels from 26 to 29 April 2022. POLAR Mohr has been present at the world’s largest trade fair for the label and packaging industry for many years. In 2022, the cutting machine manufacturer can be found as usual in Hall 7 at Stand A29.
Optimised software
HMI control and a and capacitive 4c colour display make operation easier, and the intuitive design meets the standards of today’s tablets and smartphones. The future-proof, new industrial control system enables modern alarm management, remote maintenance and diagnostics, as well as integration into the digital workflow.
The built-in servo technology improves process stability and increases production downtimes: the system runs more smoothly, and start and braking speeds can be set independently. The new die cutter also allows the machine to be restarted without any problems, while the material can remain in the machine. Modernised job management reduces changeover times from 30 to 15 minutes thanks to automatic presettings.
Punching waste 100% recyclable
POLAR LabelySystem DCC-12 also scores in terms of sustainability: the die cutter is capable of handling label packs without cardboard. The waste is therefore pure mono-material and can be optimally recycled. The punch is ventilated and can suck up waste directly. This means that even acute-angled shapes under 90° can be punched without any problems.
