New specifications for Invercote Duo in March – lighter and more flexible

Friday 26. February 2021 - The high-yield Invercote Duo is just as strong as ever, but now a little lighter and also more flexible. Invercote Duo is a fully bleached cellulose board (SBB) produced by double-sided back-gluing of double-coated Invercote. Its printed surfaces faithfully reproduce the most demanding images and it is known for its high stiffness, light fastness and excellent strength.

Invercote Duo is ideal for packaging aroma and flavour-intensive products, and its strength and stiffness also make it ideal for various display purposes and different types of premium rigid packaging.
Following extensive testing in consultation with a number of key customers, Iggesund has revised the product specification of Invercote Duo to provide customers with the best possible service and availability. The updated Invercote Duo gives customers a greater yield advantage. It is also available in different production configurations with trio and quattro options, as well as a choice of coated surface or uncoated surface for greater product flexibility.
“Invercote Duo is a high-yield board with high stiffness and excellent strength properties, making it ideal for folding and bending without breaking. At the same time, it is a lightweight cartonboard, which is crucial from a sustainability point of view to reduce environmental impact throughout the life cycle and to reduce transport weight and waste,” explains Per Berglund, Product Manager, Inverform & Value-added Products, Iggesund.
