Another Successful Daco PLD350 Installation Into The Middle East

Tuesday 22. August 2017 - A recently formed company Century Labels places its trust in Daco Solutions to provide a Daco PLD350 semi-automatic turret rewinder for its manufacturing plant in Dubai.

The client atteneded a recent Labelexpo exhibition and later visited the Daco Solutions production facility to discuss the product range of rotary die cutters for plain label production. Century Labels visited some local Daco clients who use the Daco PLD350 for their thermal label production.

Century Labels had recently purchased a 6 colour flexographic label press from Lombardi Converting Machinery and some of the label finishing on their slitter rewinder was taking too long. In the Daco showroom we demonstrated that the machine was capable of rewinding and slitting small rolls very efficiently from a flexographic printing press. Century Labels now rewind small roll diameter labels efficiently reducing significantly the labour element of the rewinding process.
The decision was made to purchase the PLD350 and an installation was planned for late summer. However, with the workload at Century we were able at their request to bring the planned installation forward by four weeks.
With only 2 days training in Dubai, all the operators were fully trained and the PLD has now enabled Century to quote for jobs that otherwise they would have not been able to produce economically.
