Encore Envelopes beefs up its pressroom with new Speedmaster CX 102

Monday 27. April 2015 - Encore Envelopes is set to take delivery of a new Speedmaster CX102-5+L next week. The new press, which replaces an out-going Komori press, was selected primarily for its flexibility and productivity and will supply high quality printed sheets for conversion into envelopes.

Established over 30 years ago, Encore Envelopes, based in Washington, Tyne and Wear, is one of the largest manufacturers of printed envelopes in the UK. It operates on a 24/6 basis.
Encore has specified the Speedmaster CX 102 with Inpress Control inline colour spectral measurement, Autoplate Pro fully automatic plate changing and Prinect Pressroom Manager production workflow.
“Heidelberg’s reputation for service and support was fundamental to our decision,” says Paul Wilson, Encore’s print manager.
Encore Envelopes has always been known for its innovation and continued investment in machinery and this press will help maintain its position as the market leader.
