ROI360 secures first Heidelberg partnership contract at Apple Colour

Thursday 29. January 2015 - Heidelberg UK is actively selling the ROI360 web to print solution and this new partnership has secured its first customer at Apple Colour in Bristol.

ROI360 has been a supplier of web to print solutions for over a decade and has more than 100 customers using its Storefront technology in the UK, including existing Heidelberg customers such as Northend Creative Print Solutions and Kingfisher Press.
For Heidelberg the ROI360 web to print solution offers an excellent link between a Storefront solution and its Prinect workflow production and business modules.
Apple Colour, an existing web to print user was seeking a simpler solution and one which didn’t require an outside agency to produce multiple templates for the simplest products. For them ROI360 was exactly right and, to steer the company’s web to print solution forward, Apple recruited Lindsey Butcher who has undergone training at ROI360 HQ in Cambridgeshire.
Lindsey Butcher explains: “Apple Colour has recognised the merits of the system and the added value it gives existing customers, particularly those who centrally manage marketing collateral and want greater control over their brand identity while having the ability to support the marketing of the product through the supply chain. It also gives them the ability to complete updates of products, promotions and logos internally, without the cost of outsourcing.
“Storefront is the recognised industry standard and ROI360 showed how versatile its system could be, with the option of additional modules to make it an all round marketing solution. The tie in with Heidelberg contributes to our confidence in this system.”
The new web to print system makes the updating of marketing material quick and easy, saving time and money. Customers can retain control by setting limits on the fields that can be edited and those which cannot, securing the brand integrity and identity. It means a company can be more tactical, producing e-mails and literature at speed in response to an opportunity or event.
Chris Matthews, digital product manager at Heidelberg UK, says: “This is a great start to our working relationship with ROI360. Heidelberg has committed to working more closely in partnership with specialist suppliers who can add value to the overall efficiency of our customers and we are very happy with how Simon Ellington and his team at ROI360 have helped and supported Apple Colour.”
The implementation of the new web to print solution is on-going.
