Apeos PEMaster Evidence Tracker 2.3, Software for Visualizing the Status of Work Progress Based on Proof and Evidenced Documents

Wednesday 01. August 2012 - On August 8, Fuji Xerox Co., Ltd. will release Apeos PEMaster Evidence Tracker 2.3, software for visualizing the status of work progress based on work-generated and evidenced documents.

Combined with Apeos PEMaster Evidence Entry 2.3, which attaches names and attributes to proof and evidenced documents to effectively store them in a document database, as well as Apeos PEMaster Evidence Manager 2.3, which stores and manages documents appropriately, the new software realizes the visualization of work processes and document management with a work process perspective.
Normally, companies internally or externally exchange a range of documents and other types of evidences such as quotes, order sheets, delivery notes, inspection statements and invoices, and it is required to accurately manage such document-based operations and record of these evidences.
In order to record and manage documents as evidence, it is necessary to design a document management structure, and store documents at the correct level of folder hierarchy. Although the documents and evidences are digitized and shared, it is difficult for users to grasp the overall work progress and what kind of documents are being processed, forcing them to contact the personnel in charge.
To solve the issue, Fuji Xerox is providing a document management solution designed from the perspective of work processes.
Apeos PEMaster Evidence Tracker 2.3 allows users to intuitively check a pre-registered workflow, evidences required in each of the processes, registration status of such evidences, and outstanding, delayed or overlooked work processes.
Users can register evidences directly from the work process screen, and the registered documents are managed appropriately by Apeos PEMaster Evidence Manager 2.3. Also with Apeos PEMaster Evidence Entry 2.3, documents exchanged as hardcopy or by FAX can be registered directly from multifunction devices to the applicable work process. This solution facilitates recording, management and sharing of documents, while users manage work processes as well as outstanding duties and control the work delivery, thereby streamlining and accelerating business activities.
