NICOLA BRIDGES NAMED SVP, PRODUCT & AUDIENCE DEVELOPMENT, OF REALAGE.COM
Friday 29. April 2011 - Nicola Bridges has been named senior vice president for product and audience development of RealAge, a leading consumer health media company based in San Diego, today announced Gregg Zegras, president of RealAge. In this newly created role, Bridges will be responsible for product management, innovation and development across all key platforms including the website, email, social media, marketing and advertising. She starts at the company today and will report to Zegras.
Bridges joins RealAge from Health Guru Media, Inc., where she was the senior vice president of content, programming and products, and oversaw HealthGuru.com, the top health destination for video streams and unique viewers. In this role, Bridges increased engagement across unique visitors, page views, video streams and unique viewers. In addition, she drove the companys overall rebranding efforts which included a site redesign and enhanced content across its eight verticals including diet and fitness, mental health and beauty and grooming.

Before joining Health Guru Media, Bridges was associate vice president & editorial director of Prevention Interactive/Rodale Inc., responsible for the strategic development and growth of Prevention.com. Prior to that, she held the title of vice president & programming iVillage.com/NBCU where she oversaw the following channels: Health & Wellbeing, Diet & Fitness and Pregnancy & Parenting. Returning to her native U.K., Bridges developed and produced award-winning business programming for the BBC. Earlier in her career, Bridges co-founded Club Mom, Inc., and served as Working Mother editor-in-chief and managing editor of Working Woman magazine.
