G-Print – quality paper that survives all trends

Friday 15. April 2011 - A product that is still standing strong after decades is not only unusual, it's unique. G-Print, coated paper from Arctic Paper is created with quality as its hallmark; it has measured up since its launch in 1975 and is still just as successful and usable today.

To celebrate this exceptional achievement G-Print is now launching a campaign with a taste of the 1970s. Food and punk rock are some of the 1970s phenomena that are being resurrected in the campaign, which includes an exciting box mailing. This promotional piece highlights G-Print’s versatility as a grade, demonstrating its suitability for many applications including magazines, maps, posters, books and direct mailings.
Often the obvious choice
Since 1975 this woodfree, white, matt coated paper has provided perfect readability in combination with fine image reproduction. All G-Print products are available with FSC and PEFC certification. This, together with a high and consistent level of technical quality makes G-Print the choice of printers and publishers across Europe.
In-house developed unique surface
The unique technology for the coating of the paper, so-called contour coating, was developed at Arctic’s Grycksbo mill and is one of the secrets behind the paper’s success. With G-Print you avoid all traces of mottling. Rigidity, strength and stability give the paper excellent printability which makes it economical. Other advantages include a smooth and low-reflective surface, high density and great durability for post-processing such as folding and binding.
Garry Colyer, Managing Director Arctic Paper UK said “The new campaign aims to emphasis that G-Print’s brand promise, ‘Impossible to copy,’ is not an exaggeration. It is in a league of its own, which explains why it has lasted so long without major changes and is still the quality paper for the future.”
