manroland at PRINTPACK: impressive show of strength

Monday 14. March 2011 - The only German sheetfed press manufacturer at the New Delhi show boasts outstanding results

The commitment paid off: manroland is very satisfied with PRINTPACK India in New Delhi (16 till 21 January 2011) The trade show with manroland as the only German sheetfed provider brought more than 700 experts from India’s packaging, commercial, and publishing printing companies to the booth.
manroland sold several sheetfed presses, among others a 3B format ROLAND 700 to a commercial printing company. There were also some new ProServ service contracts and spare part orders from existing customers. The high quality of project discussions confirmed the interest in innovative and high performance printing solutions. Next to sheetfed and webfed technology the printservices and printcom portfolios aroused great attention. “The results of the exhibition are well above our expectations,” says Anil Bhatia, Managing Director manroland India. “Our focus for 2011 will be to amplify our infrastructure and manpower, double our service team staff, further enhance our local spare parts inventory, and launch printcom, our consumables range. 2011 will be the best year in the history of manroland India until now, with six new webfed press installations in the country. We are pleased to report many new projects and orders from the advertising, packaging, commercial, and newspaper printing segments. Our customers really loved the VAP shows. They were deeply impressed by the booth and enchanted to meet the manroland team for expert talks and discussions on new technology.”
manroland presented its groundbreaking trade show concept VAP – Value Added Printing. Daily presentations at the VAP theater highlighted solutions for printing requirements such as superior quality commercial printing, packaging solutions, and highly-automated newspaper publishing.
