Thursday 10. March 2011 - Demonstrating its commitment to the professional packaging market, Flint Group will have a considerable presence at Gulf Print & Pack which takes place at Airport Expo in Dubai this month from 14 to 17 March. The event is a must-attend event for commercial, packaging and label printers in the MENA region. Delegates will see live demonstrations of the latest systems and materials, and learn about global printing and packaging trends and technologies.
The global reach of Flint Group’s Packaging and Narrow Web division and its clear focus on the packaging and label market enable the company to provide tailored products and services to international packaging and label printers across different regions. In addition the company has had several new product developments established over the last year in the market. Visitors to the Flint Group stand at Gulf Print & Pack will learn about the companys major achievements from the past year which include:
PremoFilm SXS – Unique cross-linking, water based technology for film printing. With the innovative technology of PremoFilm SXS Flint Group demonstrates its commitment to support the production of sustainable packaging and helps minimise carbon footprint. PremoFilm SXS is based on a unique self cross-linking technology that enables the ink film to have very good adhesion to non absorbent substrates such as oPP and PE.
PluriLam CH/1 – A new generation of NC/PU-based lamination inks to meet new challenges in gravure printing. PluriLam CH/1 – the next generation of the PluriLam CH ink system – provides higher lamination bond strength especially with PA and PVdC coated PET substrates. The ink system is especially designed for gravure printing for high performance lamination requirements.
VarioLam AB – High quality inks for high end lamination. This product range is based on polyurethane and is especially designed to meet the requirements of a broad range of high performance lamination specifications. VarioLam AB is suitable for both flexo and gravure applications – allowing you to manage lamination printing with only one basic ink range.
Flexocure FORCE – The milestone development in UV Flexo technology that will enable printers to take another step in print quality, improved mileage and press performance. With much easier handling due to lower viscosity and no foaming, greater adhesion to a wider range of substrates and improved performance on many variable printing techniques – Flexocure FORCE covers everything a label and narrow web printer needs today, tomorrow and for the foreseeable future.
