FOTOULLA EURIPIDOU JOINS HEARST MAGAZINES AS VICE PRESIDENT, DIRECTOR OF CONSUMER RESEARCH
Friday 04. March 2011 - Hearst Magazines today announced that Fotoulla Euripidou, formerly of Rodale Inc., is joining the company as vice president, director of consumer research. She will begin on March 21 and will report to Ellen Levine, editorial director, Hearst Magazines.
“As Hearst continues to expand its consumer product offerings on the print and digital fronts, Fotoullas deep experience in editorial research will be a great asset to the company,” Levine said. “As the media landscape evolves, her insights will be key in helping us navigate and evaluate opportunities, from launches to content extensions for our existing brands.”
Euripidou joins Hearst Magazines after spending eight years at Rodale Inc., where she most recently served as vice president of consumer insights. In that role, she was responsible for supporting product and brand development through research and market intelligence across all Rodale brands and media properties. Prior to that, she was director of marketing research at Gemstar/TV Guide and a senior project director for media brand research at Total Research Corporation/Harris Interactive.
“Hearst is known for its strong emphasis on analysis and that shows in the quality of the editorial products it puts out,” Euripidou said. “Im thrilled to be joining the company and to work closely with Ellen to make sure consumers are getting the best possible editorial experiences.”
