SignComp Europe at Sign & Digital UK

Wednesday 23. February 2011 - SignComp Europe Ltd will be promoting their Worldwide acclaimed flexible faced tensioning system. Incorporating the now very familiar "black clip", it is regarded as the quickest and simplest method to manufacture and maintain a flexible faced sign.

The Econoflex product is ideal for internal and external light boxes. It is available in four depths with a double sided option and is suitable for use with standard fluorescent tubes or LED illumination. It has become a firm favourite with sign makers as, due to its versatility, it can be used to create circular and curved signs of almost any shape and size and is used extensively for built up letters.
This image shows the Econoflex system as used by the Spanish energy company Gas Natural. Each letter is over two meters high and clearly demonstrates the unique versatility of the product.
The Retro system has become very popular with sign makers due to its multipurpose functionality. Originally designed to convert acrylic faced light boxes into flex faced signs, sign makers realised that it had the same adaptable qualities as the Econoflex in that it could be fabricated into almost any shape. It soon became a firm favourite with sign makers who were set the task of creating non-illuminated signs of large or irregular shapes.
This is a fantastic example of how the Retro system can fulfil just about any requirement for the sign maker. This sign can be found straddling the main road leading to the German international football stadium.
The Non-illuminated Fascia Frame is becoming a very popular solution for hanging semi-permanent and permanent banners and signs. It’s aesthetic appeal means it can be used for the smallest of signs but because of the enormous strength of the Frame itself and the Tensioning Clip, it has been recognised as an ideal solution to cover buildings as opposed to incredibly unattractive and distracting bungee ropes or cable ties.
One of the largest images that we know of supported using the non-illuminated fascia frame.
The Glowline product was originally developed as a bespoke signage solution for an International banking group. It is an adaptation of the Econoflex sign system but with the inclusion of a Downlighter which was used to illuminate ATM’s creating a dual purpose sign. With the development of more powerful LED’s it has been used to illuminate sides of buildings as well as providing a durable signage solution.
Once used for selective illumination, the Glowline can be used with LED’s to illuminate the sides of buildings.
