Eastman Increases GLYCOL ETHERS Prices on February 1

Friday 14. January 2011 - Eastman Chemical Company is increasing prices on the following products effective Feb. 1, or as contracts allow.

These increases are due to increased market demand and operating costs, particularly in raw materials, energy and freight.

EASTMAN DB Solvent, All Grades : List and off-list price increase of $US 0.10 /lb ($US 0.10/lb ($US 0.22/kg) ) globally.
EASTMAN DE Solvent : List and off-list price increase of $US 0.06 /lb ($US 0.06/lb ($US 0.132/kg) ) globally.
EASTMAN DE-HG Solvent : List and off-list price increase of $US 0.06 /lb ($US 0.06/lb ($US 0.132/kg) ) globally.
EASTMAN DM Solvent : List and off-list price increase of $US 0.06 /lb ($US 0.06/lb ($US 0.132/kg) ) globally.
EASTMAN DP Solvent : List and off-list price increase of $US 0.06 /lb ($US 0.06/lb ($US 0.132/kg) ) globally.
EASTMAN PM Solvent : List and off-list price increase of $US 0.07 /lb ($US 0.07/lb ($US 0.154/kg) ) globally.
EASTMAN EB Solvent, All Grades : List and off-list price increase of $US 0.10 /lb ($US 0.10/lb ($US 0.22/kg) ) globally.
