FUJIFILM Corporation announces price increase of graphic arts film

Friday 07. January 2011 - FUJIFILM Corporation has announced that it will implement a worldwide price increase for its graphic arts film.

Effective immediately, the price increase is substantial and at double digit, but vary depending on markets and regions.
Fujifilm has been undertaking intensive structural reforms to reduce fixed costs and improve productivity, and trying to absorb the increase costs of raw materials for graphic arts film over the few years.
However, the demand for graphic arts film is continuously decreasing and the costs of raw materials, mainly silver, are unusually soaring. Under such circumstances, Fujifilm is no longer able to absorb these costs and it is inevitable to increase the price.
Fujifilm commits to stay connected with the customers through providing various range of solutions with leading-edge technology and contributes to further growth of the printing industry.
