Reichhold Announces Price Increase on GMA based Powder Resins Sold in North America

Thursday 16. December 2010 - Reichhold, Inc. announced a price increase today on all GMA based powder resins sold in North America for the coatings industry. The increase will raise product prices on average 20%.

This increase is directly related to the continuing escalation of key raw materials required to produce these products. This price increase is effective for orders shipped on or after January 1, 2011.
“As monomer prices continue to rise at unprecedented levels, we have no other alternative than to raise prices to maintain fair profit margins. We appreciate the understanding of our customers as we work to minimize the impact of rising costs upon product pricing,” stated Martin Horrocks, Sales Manager – North American Coatings.
