Pelican Trust installs HighWater Products Cobra-2 CtP
Wednesday 03. November 2010 - Pelican Trust located in Lincoln provides meaningful work experience, with numerous courses and job seeking skills for adults with disabilities or long term unemployment.
Within the printing department there was a need to invest in a CtP solution to enhance the quality and efficiency of its origination. They set out in March this year to find a cost-effective means of moving to CtP and promote the companies environmental credentials to their customers in Lincolnshire and throughout the UK.
Pelican Trust evaluated several Thermal and Violet CtP manufacturers and chose the HighWater Products Cobra-2 Violet CtP, Cascade Rip and Agfa plate combination as the perfect fit for the company requirements.
The system was installed in October by HighWater Products service and support partner Marlowe Graphics who delivered all the necessary on-site training for the new solution, and will continue to provide technical assistance to enable Pelican Trust to gain the maximum benefit of this investment in the future.
Commenting on the installation Pelican Trust CEO Stacey Gillott said “We are already seeing significant reduction in production make-ready times and are delighted with the increased quality being achieved on press”.
Peter Flynn Sales Director at HighWater Products said, “This installation will be a fantastic learning aid which gives both the students and employees an up-to-date insight into modern printing technologies and we are very proud to be associated with the Pelican Trust.
