KBA Signals Successful Graph Expo 2010 with Press Sales and Eager Crowds

Thursday 14. October 2010 - Largest offset press manufacturer display delights attendees with wide press array information, environmental message, food, and drink

KBA North America, a global press manufacturer based in Dallas, Texas, is ecstatic with its presence at Graph Expo 2010 in Chicago from Oct. 3-6. The firm occupied the largest display for an offset press manufacturer and its booth was thick with well-qualified attendees who signed orders for new press installations, learned about KBA’s wide array of press models, expressed admiration for the variety of superb press sheets to take with them, and enjoyed the festive Oktoberfest atmosphere of genuine German beer and bratwurst.

“We are extremely pleased that we supported the graphic arts industry as an exhibitor at Graph Expo this year,” says Mark Hischar, president and CEO of KBA North America. “The four-day show drew an amazing, well-qualified crowd of printers who took an active interest in our press models and kept our sales force busy. We sold several presses in all size ranges including the 81″ Rapida 205 and we will soon be able to divulge their names to the public.”

Straddled between the commercial and newspaper areas on the show floor, KBA showcased its wide array of press models—from the popular Genius 52UV 20-inch to the world’s largest Rapida 205 81-inch press, as well as the new C16 and Commander CT web press line. KBA emphasized its world wide profitability and strong dedication to the North American market, and its stable 193-year history while having one-on-one discussions with attendees.

Each day, the KBA booth was swarmed with those who wanted to take a variety of superbly-printed press sheets; the most popular were shots photographed by renowned artist Rene Staud of unique, expensive luxury cars, the interior of the Dallas Cowboy football stadium, a pastoral scene of fir-scented woods, new lenticular pieces and the ever-popular giant world and national map posters. Throughout the show floor, attendees toted their KBA sleeves with a number of popular press sheets.

To provide a comfortable venue for attendees to learn about KBA’s ingenuity and technology, the firm served genuine German beer and bratwurst in a festive Oktoberfest atmosphere. At times, attendees were lined up three-deep waiting their turn for the delicious luncheon choices.
