Objet highlights first-class rapid prototyping quality and diverse application possibilities at TCT Live

Objet will be focussing on the diverse true-to-life applications made possible with its 3D printing solutions at TCT Live this year.

Wednesday 04. August 2010 - Objet's exhibit at TCT will showcase the meticulous accuracy, fine detail and high-quality surface finish produced by its 3D printing solutions. With entry-level Alaris30TM and unique multi-material ConnexTM printers operating live on the stand (H14), Objet will illustrate how the technology can be applied to a vast number of rapid prototyping challenges.

“This year we’ll be focusing on applications and the results users can achieve with the technology,” states Chris Baker, Objet Geometries UK sales manager, “Objet systems are used extensively throughout a wide range of industries including automotive, medical, aerospace, education and consumer products – and we’ll have a selection of the best examples available to view on our stand.”

Baker explains that the speed and accuracy of Objet 3D printing enables manufacturers and industrial designers to reduce the cost of product development cycles and dramatically shorten time-to-market of new products.

“We want to demonstrate this first-hand to anyone serious about high-quality rapid prototyping so we’re inviting them to bring along their STL files to see for themselves what can be achieved. Visitors who take part will receive their own 3D printed model shortly after the show and we know they will be delighted with the fine detail, surface finish and precision of their parts.”

Objet will also contribute to the TCT Live seminars. Speaking in the 3D Printing/Prototyping seminar on Objet’s patented PolyJet MatrixTM technology – which provides the unique multi-material printing capability – Baker will explain the benefits and relevance of the Connex in today’s marketplace. Objet’s Tech Briefing will focus on the latest technological developments to be released from its ground-breaking R&D department.

See Objet at TCT LIVE 2010 from 20th – 21st October, on stand H14 at the IEC Ricoh Arena, Coventry.
