Oahu Publications Acquires Honolulu Advertiser and Related Assets

Tuesday 04. May 2010 - Gannett Co., Inc. (NYSE:GCI) announced today that it has completed the sale of The Honolulu Advertiser and related assets including web site, non-daily publications, 101 Things to Do, Inc., and Gannett’s interest in Hawaii.com to Oahu Publications, Inc. (OPI). Financial terms were not disclosed.

OPI is a private company that owns and publishes the Honolulu Star-Bulletin daily newspaper, Midweek and other weekly newspapers and magazines. OPI also manages Internet sites and is engaged in commercial printing.
