Distinguish your Company by Winning a Premier Print Award

Tuesday 23. March 2010 - With nearly 1,000 distinctions given out at the Premier Print Awards, isn’t it about time you received the recognition you deserve?

The Prestige
An award in this competition–whether a Certificate of Merit, an Award of Recognition, a Best of Division, or “the Benny”–is an amazing achievement that can foster the growth of your business. In the past, winning companies have used their triumph to gain new business, solidify client relationships, and enhance their standing in the marketplace.
All winners are listed on printing.org with their name and a link to their company’s website. With over 35,000 unique visitors logging onto the website a month, this spotlight can be the catalyst your company has been searching for in order to achieve higher profits.
Winning a Benny
Flawless entries that receive top honors at the Premier Print Awards are presented with the highly coveted Benny statue. The Benny is one of the most sought after achievements for any printer. Quality Printing won two Bennys and saw its profits soar thanks to the international recognition it received.
A Benny signifies that your business produces work of extremely high quality. James Mayes, president of ColorCraft of Virginia, says, “The Premier Print Awards Competition is an excellent opportunity to showcase the quality of our craft. The employees and customers look forward to being recognized by their industry, and it is a great marketing opportunity for the winners.”
Winners of the Benny are announced through a press release which is sent out to pertinent media outlets. In addition, Benny winners are included in the December issue of Graphic Design USA. As a new benefit in 2010, the Premier Print Awards Benny winners will be featured in a printed piece that will be mailed to more than 10,000 purchasers of print. When all is said and done, over 100,000 creative professionals are exposed to your work and name. We help winners manage this attention by providing them with the Premier Print Awards self-promotion kit to help build upon their success.
How to Win the Premier Print Award
Entering the Premier Print Awards is as easy as looking at the work you and your team produced since May 1, 2009 and submitting it online at www.printing.org/ppaentries. You could very well be housing a Benny-winning piece.
Remember, David Beat Goliath
Smaller companies need not worry about going up against larger companies for an award. In this competition all companies are treated equal and, to be sure that entries do not get lost in the shuffle, they are divided into divisions. Depending on the size of your business, you may find yourself in one of six divisions:
Printers with 20 employees or less
Printers with 21-50 employees
Printers with 51-100 employees
Printers with 101-250 employees
Printers with more than 250 employees
Non-printer: ad agency, designer, finishers, binders
Winners are chosen in each division. Then, from those six winners, the judges choose the entries to award a Benny to.
Entering a Piece
Entering a piece is easier than ever, especially with our online entry form which will escort you through the entry process and can be found at www.printing.org/ppaentries.
