Büchler Grafino AG optimises performance and quality with Brillia LH-NN2
Tuesday 20. October 2009 - FUJIFILM Europe today announces the successful installation of its Brillia LH-NN2 plate at Büchler Grafino AG in Bern, Switzerland. As well as achieving optimum levels of performance with the plate, Büchler Grafino AG has saved both time and money since installation of the new system.
Reto Kalin, leader at the Bern plant, comments: “With Brillia LH-NN2, weve chosen the most reliable plate on the market. Compared to our previous plates, it offers extended run lengths which have exceeded the product specification on a number of occasions, as well as providing extremely stable exposure and processing performance. We can run more than 12,000 plates before having to clean the developer bath and when we do go to clean it, we find that its not that dirty anyway, saving us time and money in cleaning and maintenance costs.
“Were delighted with the performance of the plate and wouldnt hesitate to recommend the plate to other printers who are looking to optimise their performance and quality.”
Designed specifically for newspaper production with 830 nm laser diode equipped platesetters, the notable features of Brillia LH-NN2 include: high-sensitivity for extended laser life; wide exposure latitude for stability and repeatability; long developer life for economy and minimal environmental impact, and the benefits of Fujifilm’s patented MultiGrain technology for reduced ink usage and improved ink/water balance. Suitable for up to 300,000 impressions, the commercial availability of Brillia LH-NN2 means Fujifilm now has one of the widest ranges of plate production solutions on the market.
