FUJIFILMs Taskero Universe Colorpath Verified Earns Prestigious InterTech Technology Award

FUJIFILM Graphic Systems U.S.A., Inc. is monitoring devices and processes throughout the PRINT 09 show floor, including platesetters, printing presses, monitors and digital printing devices, with the newest version of its award-winning Taskero Universe ColorPath Verified.
Winner of the prestigious InterTech Technology Award from Printing Industries of America, Fujifilms patented Taskero Universe ColorPath Verified is a system and method for remotely monitoring, maintaining and servicing every facet of the color production process. It aims to increase a printers profitability while also reducing waste. Designed to provide critical, up-to-date information on the color production process, Taskero Universe ColorPath Verified monitors and validates output from the prepress stage to the pressroom and offers a method for monitoring, controlling and maintaining consistent quality throughout color production – not only in local plants, but also in remote locations around the world via an Internet connection.
Taskero Universe ColorPath Verified is monitoring the following color production processes during PRINT 09, including:
– all devices in the Fujifilm booth (#6919), including digital printing devices, wide format printers and CTP units, ensuring color conforms to set standards and that devices are running reliably;
– two offset presses at the Komori America Corporation booth (#1245), collecting and aggregating information and performance across all ink keys, color conformance and even paper performance to verify that each job is staying within the specified tolerance set at the press console;
– the new iGen4 Digital Production Press at the Xerox Corporation booth (#1100 and #1117) monitoring the color output and production speeds.
The software keeps users and Fujifilm informed of events and sends alerts if necessary, providing real-time help, support and communication for quick problem resolution. Taskero Universe ColorPath Verified also delivers a wide range of information, including device performance, color analysis, consumable consistency and plant performance comparison.
