DuPont Declares Third Quarter Dividend

Tuesday 28. July 2009 - DuPont (NYSE:DD) declared a third quarter common stock dividend of 41 cents per share, payable September 11, to stockholders of record August 14.

This dividend is the same as what was paid in the second quarter 2009. This is the 420th consecutive quarterly dividend since the company’s first dividend in the fourth quarter of 1904.

Regular quarterly dividends of $1.12-1/2 per share on the $4.50 series preferred stock and 87-1/2 cents per share on the $3.50 series preferred stock also were declared, both payable October 23, 2009 to stockholders of record October 9, 2009.
