Mimakis debut at Graphitec Paris a sound success
Monday 29. June 2009 - The show proved to be an invigorating experience for the multitude of visitors that watched Mimakis innovative large format inkjet printing and cutting solutions.
Mimaki Engineering, a leading manufacturer of wide-format inkjet printers and cutting machines for the sign/graphics, textile/apparel and industrial markets is proud to announce that the companys unique and future-oriented presentations at Graphitec show in Paris have been very well received by the visitors.
The center of attention were Mimakis new UV LED solutions: the hybrid UJV-160 and flatbed JFX-1631 inkjet printer. Both machines feature the new cool UV LED technology that enables printing on heat-senstive media due to the fact that UV LEDs emit only low temperatures. As the ink is cured directly after printing, fast postprocessing is ensured and due to its low power requirements, energy savings of 2/3 can be achieved in comparison to conventional UV lamps. Thus, label production was shown employing the UJV-160 while on the JFX-1631 that features among others eight new printheads and Mimakis IMS (Intelligent Microstepping System), PoP and PoS applications were shown that were cut afterwards on the CF2 flatbed cutter.
On the CJV30 Series printing and cutting of transparent PET/foil type media was shown. This integrated print and cut device that is available in four different media sizes from 60 up to 160 cm is the choice of many who desire a highly compact, yet fully fledged and high quality large format printer/cutter at an affordable price.
Mimakis UJF-series, the UJF-605R for printing and proofing on original substrates that are used in flexible packaging as well as the UJF-605C for printing membrane switches, on pens and plastic cards also attracted many attendants looking for viable digital print solutions.
Last, but not least the CG-FXII Series, Mimakis top class cutting devices for sheets and roll media, cutting high quality stickers and labels.
