Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG (Heidelberg) is exhibiting a comprehensive range of solutions covering the entire added value chain of sheetfed offset printing at China Print 2009, which is taking place in Beijing from May 12-16. Heidelberg is presenting integrated solutions for commercial as well as packaging printing, including various locally manufactured exhibits, on an area of over 3,500 square meters (over 37,000 square feet).

Heidelberg is exhibiting to local and international visitors at China Print 2009 in its drupa guise and rolling out the core communication elements unveiled in Germany in 2008 built on “HEI Performance” and “HEI Value”. “HEI Performance” promises premium performance in speed, reliability, and print quality – features that ease the day-to-day workload for every user. “HEI Value” is geared to comprehensive process automation, greater productivity and thus higher margins – features that benefit every printing company and thus deliver added value that pays off.
In doing so, Heidelberg is focusing on continuity in its corporate identity on the international stage. At the same time Heidelberg has tailored its exhibits to the strong Chinese market. The solution concept is mirrored in the structure of the companys stand, which is split into five different areas:

Visitors have easy access to these areas from the “HEI Way”, a gallery running through the hall.
Details During the trade show, the Print Media Academy (PMA) is offering a series of seminars on “Workflow Integration”, “Green Printing”, and “Press Maintenance”. Alongside this are two events aimed specifically at print buyers, explaining in detail the role that cutting-edge print technology can play in helping support creative design ideas and how an idea is transformed into a valuable print product.
For the first time, visitors to China Print have the opportunity to visit a local print shop to get a first-hand account about various consumables and inks of the Saphira product portfolio in practice.
China Print is the largest and most important trade show for the printing industry in China. The show was launched in 1984 and is this year being held for the seventh time.
