Vital Printing Corporation Boosts Bindery with Second Stahlfolder Installation

Monday 15. December 2008 - After several years of success with its current Heidelberg Stahlfolder, Vital Printing in downtown West Palm Beach, Fla. has recently taken delivery of a second Stahlfolder B 20 folder to help handle the growing workload for the company.

“Because of Heidelberg’s expert installation and service teams, led by Louis Perez, the installation went smoothly and quickly,” said Patti Vitale, assistant to Owner Bill Vitale. “Louis is always just a phone call away for us, and we rely on that prompt Heidelberg service to keep moving.” Vital Printing has also come to rely on the Stahlfolder B 20, which offers an easy set-up, fast makereadies and reliable, high-quality output. The company, which currently employs just 10 people, has upgraded technology throughout the shop in recent years, installing two new 2-color Printmaster QM 46 presses, a 4-color Printmaster PM 74 press with perfector, a new POLAR cutter and a host of Prinect workflow solutions, including Prinect Signa Station – the user-friendly impositioning tool. The company also uses Heidelberg Saphira Consumables throughout the shop. Vital Printing has been in operation since 1980, and works with many loyal customers in the West Palm Beach area. “We stay very busy,” Vitale said. “Bill doesn’t let dust settle on his equipment, so we are operating all of the time.”
