Flint Group focus on value added technical services
Thursday 16. October 2008 - As the global economic downturn deepens and financial pressure on all operating costs for printing plants increases, Flint Groups European News Ink Division will further focus its product and service offering continuing their commitment to share technical know-how and other value added services to the Newspaper Industry.
Flint Group announces “Pole Position”:- a number of customer interactive service modules designed to impact on the industry target to improve productivity and quality by making processes simpler, more accurate and therefore more efficient.
The modules are:
* Evaluation of the process
* Limitations and opportunities of the consumables in the process
* Print quality – a system in balance
* Printing efficiently and with the right quality
* Investment verification
The projects identified concentrate on finding, documenting and implementing improvements through knowledge transfer including training, monitoring and advisory techniques.
Each module has proven effectiveness in application, quality and profitability to the customers with whom Flint Group have developed the pilot projects throughout Europe during the past year. To ensure that the projects fit each individual customers current situation and agenda, the different modules are assembled into a specific tailor made programme.
The Print Education Centres located in Cologne, Germany and Trelleborg, Sweden, equipped and designed for seminars, training and group meetings are available for the Pole Position project discussions and development.
The “Pole Position” concept will be launched during the IFRA Expo in Amsterdam (October 27-30) at the Flint Group stand; Hall 8 – Stand no 8540.
