RBP Chemical Technology Donates Second Concept 21 Fountain Solution System to PIA/GATF
Monday 21. July 2008 - RBP Chemical Technology has donated a second Concept 21 Fountain Solution System to PIA/GATF for use in the PIA/GATF Technical Research Center.
The patented device permits PIA/GATF press technicians and researchers to dial in a precise fountain solution formula tailored to specific press conditions, by simply varying the ratios of water and superconcentrated chemistry. The tight operational control thus achieved drives consistent press performance, reduces operating costs, and produces a smaller environmental footprint than is possible with conventional fountain chemistries.
Commenting on the donation, RBP Director of Sales and Marketing Dan Romani said: “Printers across North America look to PIA/GATF for the latest in printing technology, and RBP is pleased to make the Concept 21 system available to them. This latest donation complements another Concept 21 which has operated successfully at PIA/GATF for many months.”
