Mimaki showcases the AF-360 Air Purifier

Monday 14. July 2008 - At drupa in Düsseldorf (May 29th to June 11th, 2008) Mimaki introduces an air purification unit, the AF-360, for the JV5 series.

Mimaki Engineering, a leading manufacturer of wide format inkjet printers and cutting machines for the Sign / Graphics, Industrial markets, and Textile / Apparel, is exhibiting the AF-360 air purifier which ensures proper air purification when working with the JV5 and Mimaki HS inks.

Printing with solvent inks, especially high solvent inks often is associated with an unpleasant odour. Ventilation units and ducts may take care of much of these environmental issues, however, a small residue of undesirable odour often remains. With the new air purifier for the JV5 series Mimaki solves this problem.

The air purifier has a compact size of 500 x 500 x 725 mm and operates with a filter cassette containing approximately 20 kg of activated carbon.

The AF-360 can also be used in combination with other Mimaki solvent inks when required.
