CDO and CoWare enter strategic partnership for an optimized brand management solution
Sunday 08. June 2008 - CoWare AG, manufacturer of the high-performance censhare publication system, and CDO Corporate Design Online, provider of the iBrams brand management solution, have agreed on a strategic partnership.
To better serve their customers, both companies want to combine their expertise and innovative solutions in a cooperative effort and to bundle the strengths of both systems through integration. Within the scope of the cooperation, the two companies will utilize their synergies and jointly develop growth opportunities on international markets. The combination of the two solutions will enable customers from the industrial and publishing sectors, as well as agencies and service providers to always utilize the best solution for the uniform presentation of their brands.
iBrams offers sophisticated web-based functions for the regulation-based creation of marketing and communication materials, offering them on an intuitive customer interface. This way, iBrams supports the creation of customized marketing and sales documents in line with the respective design regulations and ensures that up-to-date templates are exclusively employed.
The censhare publications system exhibits its strengths in the area of media asset management and extensive workflow control. All contents are managed and distributed centrally, while censhare is always in control of all involved users and materials and automatically controls even the most complicated workflows. This can incorporate not only external users and locations, but also automatic processes such as conversions or preflight processes.
Both systems integrate the Adobe InDesign Server and can be easily linked via a connector. This will allow users of the iBrams brand management solution to use the censhare media asset management and directly access the solutions assets as well as being incorporated into the workflow. The first result of the cooperation is the joint presentation of CDO and CoWare at the drupa 2008. From May 29 to June 11, both companies are exhibiting their products at the drupa innovation parc in hall 7.0 at booth 7.0 E.
Andreas Michalski, CEO of CDO, talked about the way the new agreement will benefit customers: “For our projects, especially those that extend across several locations and countries, we are noticing a growing need for a “large” media asset management solution. This is precisely what censhare offers us, and to boost even optimized for the management of media data and publication in various media. The new partnership allows us to add a solid basis to our solution, to meet the highest demands for stability, flexibility and scalability. Together we can offer our customers the most innovative technology combined with decades of sector experience,” he said.
Dieter Reichert, CoWares Chief Marketing Officer, added: “The censhare publication system was designed for single source publishing in all media as well as system integration at the highest level. In addition to an editorial system and a web content management solution, censhare also offers its own brand management functions. However, for complex brand management projects involving many users not involved in the publication process, we recommend the integration of iBrams to our customers, not the least due to its specific functions such as the mailing and poster modules and the intuitive user handling.”
