Ricoh Wins Boys & Girls Clubs of America Account

Thursday 29. May 2008 - Advanced Document Management Products and Solutions Available to More Than 4,000 Clubs

Ricoh Americas Corporation, the leading provider of digital office equipment, today announced that it has signed a national agreement with Boys & Girls Clubs of America(R) (BGCA). Some 4,300 Clubs are now able to purchase any Ricoh printer, copier, multifunction product or software solution.

The use of Ricoh products in Boys & Girls Club facilities will enable them to streamline document workflow from the creation of a document to its distribution and replication. Beyond realizing operational efficiencies, Ricoh’s devices will also allow Boys & Girls Clubs to produce high-quality color and black-and-white documents from memos to brochures to direct mail pieces all in-house. In addition, Ricoh’s software solutions can help manage the capturing, sharing, storing and securing of documents and confidential information they hold.

“Now, thanks to Ricoh, all Boys & Girls Club organizations will have access to management solutions that consistently reduce operating expenses, and provide exceptional overall value,” said Bill Regehr, senior vice president, Information Technology, Boys & Girls Clubs of America.

Boys & Girls Clubs can take advantage of free on-site analysis by Ricoh that will assist them in determining the products and solutions that best meet their respective organizational business needs. To accomplish this task, Ricoh will bring together experts in document management, business analysis, solution design, IT, and eBusiness to help develop an accurate picture of the organizations’ challenges and goals and develop a blueprint for action.

“Working with Boys & Girls Clubs of America is an opportunity Ricoh is honored to take on,” said Dominic Pontrelli, vice president of sales, Ricoh Global Services America, Ricoh Americas Corporation. “We believe that the breadth and depth of our expertise, products and services will enable the organization to achieve efficient document management capabilities at a lower total cost of ownership. In turn, this will allow Boys & Girls Clubs to place its time and resources on its most valuable constituents — the children in the community.”

To service BGCA and its affiliate Clubs, Ricoh has formed a customer service group that is dedicated to this youth-serving organization.
