La Collines youth protector packaged in PCR airless
Monday 10. March 2025 - La Collines Le Métaprotecteur is the Swiss brands first eco-conscious illuminating youth protector, part of its new ClarOlogy ritual. Certified reef-friendly, it is formulated to preserve and protect skins youth and radiance.

The advanced skincare product is packaged by Quadpack, who developed its Regula Airless Refill solution to meet the brand’s exacting requirements for formula protection, recyclability and premium design.
Samy Frois, La Colline’s Packaging Purchasing & Development Manager, explained: “Quadpack enabled us to meet our challenge of combining eco-design and luxury packaging. With 100% recyclable components, a majority of recycled materials and hot stamping to make sorting at recycling facilities possible, Regula Airless Refill allowed us not to make any compromise. It also won us over with its wide choice of customisation options, both in terms of printing and materials.”
Regula Airless Refill is entirely metal-free, refillable and made from recyclable materials. In line with the brand’s preference for local sourcing, it is manufactured and decorated at Quadpack’s facilities in Germany, which runs on renewable energy. The solution produced for Le Métaprotecteur features a white outer bottle made of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) with 74% post-consumer recycled (PCR) content. The inner is made of polypropylene (PP) for optimal compatibility and is perfectly adapted to limit the volume of the product.
The sophisticated decoration was achieved using a number of techniques to reflect La Colline’s prestige branding. The outer bottle is treated with a white matte coating, with the design applied using hotfoil stamping and two-colour screen printing. The adapter ring, hotfoiled a glossy silver, connects the bottle to the white, metal-free pump. The PET cap is the crowning touch, decorated silver using full-cover hotfoil stamping, a low-emission, solvent-free, more sustainable alternative to metallisation. During development, decorated samples were provided at every step of the way, to ensure the correct look and feel.
In terms of performance, airless technology helps maintain product integrity by keeping the formula safe from air and external contaminants. Moreover, dosage is consistent with every stroke, while a high restitution rate ensures waste-free usage.
