Marbach at the drupa in Düsseldorf: Successful appearance with many innovations

Wednesday 26. June 2024 - The globally operating diemaker Marbach can look back on a successful drupa 2024. With a new stand concept, Marbach presented its innovations for maximum performance in packaging production to visitors on almost 100 m2 of stand space.

Almost 1,000 visitors came to the well-attended Marbach stand over the 11 days of the trade fair.
Successful drupa after an 8-year break
Marketing Manager Tina Dost: “After an 8-year break, we were very excited about drupa 2024 – and were not disappointed. In addition to many existing customers, there were many new international contacts this year with good potential for future business. But that’s not all: even during the trade fair, some visitors took advantage of our promotional products and placed their orders directly on site.”
New products for maximum performance
Marbach presented numerous solutions for maximum performance in the production of packaging at drupa.
The highlights of the Marbach trade fair appearance were the digital zone levelling DZL with a new type of coating, the lightweight and high-precision aluminum dieboards solidplate|alu and duramar|alu as well as CONNECT|M. This is a Marbach system solution for more digitalization in the die-cutting process. It was also CONNECT|M that amazed the visitors: Marbach impressively presented the many possibilities offered by CONNECT|M in a LIVE demonstration.
Another product highlight was the new Marbach high-performance rubber marbaject. Marbach impressively demonstrated its unique rebound elasticity – compared to conventional rubber materials on the market – at the marbaject test station.
Another topic that many visitors focused on were the tools for honeycomb board. Honeycomb board is becoming increasingly important as a material for future transport protection solutions. Numerous visitors on the Marbach stand informed themselves about the special Marbach tooling solutions for this material, which is not easy to die-cut.
In addition, there were of course many other topics that the Marbach stand crew presented to the visitors.
Tina Dost: “drupa was once again a successful event for us in 2024, from which several tasks and projects have emerged. Our sales team is currently working hard on the contacts we made. We are very much looking forward to being able to supply even more packaging manufacturers with maximum performance through our innovative tool technologies and services in the future.”
