Remous Print Expands Capabilities with New Komori GL-537+C Press Featuring H-UV Technology

Tuesday 25. June 2024 - The H-UV curing system is a key feature of the new press, offering significant environmental benefits. By eliminating the need for traditional lamination, it reduces waste and energy consumption, contributing to a more sustainable printing process.

Komori U.K. Limited is excited to announce that Remous Print, the Dorset based complete print provider, purchased a state-of-the-art Komori Lithrone G-537+C printing press with H-UV technology. This acquisition was finalized during the prestigious drupa 2024 exhibition and marks a significant upgrade in Remous Print’s production capabilities.
The new Komori GL-537+C press will replace an older Heidelberg press and a Komori GL-529+C, introducing a new era of efficiency and versatility for the company. Equipped with PDS-SX and designed to handle printing jobs up to 0.8mm thickness, this new press is tailored to meet the demands of both commercial and packaging projects.
“Our investment in the Komori GL-537+C aligns with our commitment to delivering superior quality and fast turnaround times for our clients. This press not only boosts our productivity but also supports our sustainability goals through the innovative H-UV curing technology”, states Alan Bunter, Managing Director at Remous Print
This advancement aligns with Remous Print’s dedication to eco-friendly practices and reducing its environmental footprint.
The acquisition comes on the heels of Remous Print’s recent expansion, following the purchase of two local companies. This strategic growth has led to an increase in workload, necessitating the need for a faster, more efficient printing solution. The Komori GL-537+C is set to meet these heightened demands, ensuring that Remous Print continues to provide exceptional service to its expanded customer base.
Chris Rigden, National Sales Specialist at Komori UK, expressed his enthusiasm for the deal: “We are thrilled to see Remous Print enhance their capabilities with the Komori GL-537+C. Our long-standing relationship with Remous Print has been built on mutual trust and a shared commitment to innovation and quality.”
The deal was made possible with the support of Compass Business Finance, whose contribution was instrumental in facilitating the purchase.
Remous Print’s new press is a testament to the company’s forward-thinking approach and its unwavering focus on quality and sustainability. The integration of the Komori GL-537+C is expected to enhance production capabilities significantly and drive the company’s growth in both the commercial and packaging sectors.
