Komori Celebrates Tremendous Success at drupa 2024 Exhibition

Thursday 20. June 2024 - The atmosphere at drupa was exceptionally positive, with an overwhelming response from industry professionals and potential clients. Visitors to Komoris booth experienced comprehensive solutions for both commercial and packaging printing.

Komori Europe is delighted to announce the successful completion of the drupa 2024 exhibition, where the company exceeded expectations by attracting a record number of visitors to its booth in Hall 15. With attendees from over 150 countries, drupa 2024 has been a global triumph, showcasing Komori’s innovation and leadership in the printing industry with the main theme of “Connected Automation”.
The commercial sessions highlighted the innovative connectivity feature and its seamless integration with Postpress, showcasing how automation can streamline the entire printing process. For packaging, the focus was on rapid colour changes enabled by Smart Colour technology and the efficiency of Super Short Make-ready, underscoring Komori’s capability to meet the high demands of packaging production and trust in Komori’s excellence.
On the second day of the exhibition, May 29th, Komori hosted a drupa party to conclude the celebrations of its 100th anniversary. The event was graced by the presence of Mr. Yoshiharu Komori (Chairman) and Mr. Satoshi Mochida (Representative Director, President and CEO), along with other key figures from the company, adding a special touch to the occasion.
Throughout drupa, Komori achieved significant sales milestones, with numerous presses sold to both commercial and packaging customers. One of the highlights was the sale of the actual exhibited Komori GLX-740+CC Ex Edition to the Wilkins Group in the UK, demonstrating the strong demand for Komori’s cutting-edge technology and the trust in Komori’s excellence. The new digital press, the Komori J-throne 29, also garnered substantial interest. This innovative press embodies Komori’s vision and responsiveness to the evolving needs of the print industry. Customer feedback has confirmed that the J-throne 29 aligns perfectly with market demands and competitive standards, positioning it as a key player in the digital printing landscape and further reinforcing the trust in Komori.
