Flint Group and Xeikon invite drupa 2024 attendees to discover next generation print technology

Tuesday 07. May 2024 - Flint Group representatives will be on hand to discuss the companys extensive array of products for printing and packaging. Visitors will also have the exclusive opportunity to witness live demonstrations of Xeikons cutting-edge digital printing engines.

Flint Group, a global leader in ink and coating solutions for print and packaging, will showcase the future of print technology at drupa 2024 in Dusseldorf, Hall 11, Booth 11A01/11A02, May 28 through June 7.

Xeikon’s live demonstrations will provide insights into three of its printing engines, including its LX3000 ‘The Lion’ five-colour dry toner press, developed to provide a fast, cost-effective solution for mass production of food-safe labels. The team will also showcase the TX500 for Flexible Packaging with TITON technology that combines the benefits of UV inkjet and electrophotographic toner, as well as the PX3300HD UV inkjet label press for durable label production. Finally, visitors will learn about Xeikon’s IDERA digital engines for corrugated printing via an inspiring digital presentation.

Narrow Web printers will learn about the Evolution De-inking Primer and Caustic-Resistant Overprint Varnish (OPV) designed to enhance sustainability in packaging and to improve material yield during the recycling process. EkoCure ANCORA, a food-contact material (FCM) certified ink technology with dual curing capabilities, will also be highlighted at the exhibition. Furthermore, for digital label printing, the company presents a range of DigiCoat varnishes to complement various digital printing techniques.
Flexible packaging printers can explore the innovative range of ONECode solvent-based inks and varnishes. The Flint Group team is eager to discuss the company’s range of universal bases, which deliver maximised flexibility whereby printers can dispense inks via one set of bases, along with a technology package specified to meet the needs of individual print jobs.
Paper & Board printers will learn about the company’s new TerraCode Bio water-based extender and coating technology designed to support printers’ sustainability objectives.
For Offset Folding Carton converters, Flint Group presents the new Novasens P670 Prime, a high-performance, low odour, low migration sheetfed ink series that offers outstanding colour strength and vibrancy across multiple substrates. Additionally, visitors can learn more about soon-to-be-launched dayGraphica printing blankets.
