Turkish premiere in anniversary year
Monday 02. October 2023 - Packaging, electronics, automotive and medical: these are the dominant industries that Arburg will be addressing at Plast Eurasia in Istanbul from 23 to 26 November 2023. The focus will be on the premiere of the Allrounder 470 H milestone machine with new hybrid machine tech.
Engin Malcan, Managing Director of Arburg Turkey, expects to see a positive appetite for investment: “Electric drives are also becoming increasingly important in terms of energy efficiency. Our new hybrid machine technology is of particular interest to customers who are looking for an energy-saving alternative to hydraulic machines while also wanting to benefit from their proven advantages. This is because by combining an electric clamping unit with a hydraulic injection unit, we have now created exactly the hybrid solution that the market is calling for.”
Turkish premiere for the hybrid Allrounder 470 H milestone machine
To mark “100 years of the Hehl family company”, Arburg surprised the market in spring with a new hybrid milestone machine. This significantly reduces acquisition and operating costs as well as the carbon footprint. At Plast Eurasia, the Allrounder 470 H “Premium” with a clamping force of 1,000 kN will be celebrating its Turkish premiere with an application for the packaging industry. Equipped with a 2-cavity mould from Usluoğlu Kalıp and a new Multilift 8 linear robotic system, the milestone machine will be producing cups made of PP.
Energy-saving, easy on resources, production-efficient, user-friendly and reliable at the same time, the sophisticated new hybrid machine technology scores points across the board. Depending on the application, the “Comfort”, “Premium” and “Ultimate” performance variants boast an energy requirement that is up to 50 per cent lower and a reduction in CO2 emissions of up to 12,000 kilograms. With different injection units and many options, the Hidrive series can be adapted precisely to customer requirements.
German family company enjoys a high level of acceptance
Arburg Turkey is known in the country for traditionally high-quality injection moulding technology, excellent service, seamless spare parts procurement and solution-oriented sales advice. Allrounders have been present on the Bosporus for more than 55 years, initially through Arburg’s former trading partner BHK Makine. In 1996, Arburg established its own subsidiary in Turkey. Since 2001, Managing Director Engin Malcan and his 17-strong team have been driving forward the dynamic development of Arburg Turkey. In this export-rich country, Arburg is now the market leader in premium injection moulding machines that are precisely tailored to customer requirements. The subsidiary also has a 210-square-metre showroom with space for three to six Allrounders for training, tests and mould sampling.
