Inaugural Packaging Startup finalists to be handed London Packaging Week platform

Most innovative packaging startups are set to treat LPW visitors to a glimpse into the future.
Leading multi-format event organisers, Easyfairs, has announced the finalists of the inaugural Packaging Startup Awards 2023, sponsored by Ocado, will be announced at London Packaging Week 2023.
The thousands of anticipated visitors attending this September’s eagerly-anticipated London Packaging Week at its new home – the ExCel London – will be treated to a glimpse into the future of packaging innovation.
The first-ever Packaging Startup Awards winners across six categories – alternative materials, connected packaging, increased functionality, online, refill & re-use, waste reduction – will be announced during a headline session at London Packaging Week, taking place at ExCeL on Friday 22nd September 2023. Entries open until midnight on Friday, August 11.
A 14-strong panel of industry experts will judge the entries. The winners across six categories will be announced during a headline session at London Packaging Week at ExCeL on Friday, September 22 2023, with each having the unique opportunity to present their innovations.
“Our distinguished judging panel are all members of ThePackHub’s?Innovation Zone?platform, ensuring they are current with the latest packaging trends and expertly skilled in identifying the best innovative solutions within the packaging industry,” said packaging expert Paul Jenkins from ThePackHub.
“This long overdue initiative is designed to recognise and celebrate the most innovative solutions created by packaging startups across the globe.?At the same time, the awards offer a platform for emerging startup talents to showcase their ideas at what promises to be another fantastic event for our industry.”
