FlexaLAB, PLANETA Q and Essentia: MG2 pharmaceutical process shown at Interpack 2023

Thursday 11. May 2023 - This capsule filling machine represents the ideal solution for those who ask for versatility as it allows to dose different pharmaceutical oral forms in many capsule sizes: this is exactly what Quotient Sciences needed at their plant in Garnet Valley, Pennsylvania (USA).

At Interpack 2023 (Düsseldorf, May 4 -10) visitors and customers will have an overview of MG2 established products and novelties. Three processing machines will be shown at our booth
FlexaLAB, capsule filler for R&D and production of small batches (up to 3.000 capsules/hour), will be equipped with two dosing units. The first unit is the liquid filling unit with MultiNETT weight control system which can fill cold liquids, hot-melt liquids and suspensions up to 70 degrees, starting from 20 mg.
The second unit is Microdose dosing unit suitable for micro-dosages of powder (including API without excipients) and powder for inhalation from 0.5 mg.
Indeed, FlexaLAB and the Microdose are the heart of the strategic partnership between MG2 and Quotient Sciences, an international CDMO. This capsule filling machine represents the ideal solution for those who ask for versatility as it allows to dose different pharmaceutical oral forms in many capsule sizes: this is exactly what Quotient Sciences needed at their plant in Garnet Valley, Pennsylvania (USA).
Also in the case of PLANETA Q capsule filler we are dealing with a model which is well-established on the market. This machine is characterized by an ergonomic design, a mobile control panel equipped with a 21-inch touch HMI, and it also complies to the OEB4 containment level.
Thanks to its production speed ranging from 6,000 up to 100,000 capsules/hour and the possibility to dose a complete range of products and their combinations, PLANETA Q incorporates the key features of the high-tech MG2 technology that is a recognized standard for all MG2 customers around the world.
Last but not least, we will present the European preview of our great novelty Essentia, a capsule filler with scalable speed up to 100.000 capsules/hour reachable with a single dosing unit: a synthesis of all MG2 technology qualities which are thus taken to an even more advanced level of optimization.
Essentia is therefore equipped with all what is necessary to produce according to the high MG2 standards, but with an approach that puts simplicity at the center and technology at the service of the operator.
