Konica Minolta continues to lead the market in production printing

Monday 25. April 2022 - The independent Swiss market research company InfoSource once again confirms Konica Minoltas market leadership in digital sheetfed printing. In 2021, the company holds first place both in the overall market with 32 per cent share and in the colour sub-market (35 per cent).

This result places Konica Minolta at the top of the ranking for Production Printing Cut Sheet A3 BW and Colour for the 11th time in a row.
Konica Minolta intends to further increase this success by expanding and developing its professional product range. Most recently, with the introduction of the AccurioPrint 2100, the print specialist introduced its new high-speed 100-page monochrome printing system, which is suitable for a central in-house print shop, for print service providers as well as for an office environment with high printing demands.
Alongside this, the ninth version of AccurioPro Flux workflow software was released, with new features and functions including automation of pre-press workflows and label printing integration. The expansion of the partnership with the Plockmatic Group is also bearing promising fruit, with the introduction of the powerful and versatile SD-435/450 bookletmaking systems offering a cost-effective large-scale production finishing solution for small and medium-sized centralised reprographics departments (CRD) and commercial printers.
These and upcoming highlights continue to ensure that Konica Minolta customers can personalise their prints in a variety of ways and automate workflows effectively. In addition, Konica Minolta is expanding its customer business with market-shaping innovations for digital solutions in professional printing to generate value through data for its customers.
