GEW to exhibit at Printing United 2021
Thursday 12. August 2021 - Printing United is running under the promotional banner of Lets Bring the Printing Industry Together Again and promises to be one of the first major in-person events to make a successful return after the COVID pandemic.
UV curing specialists GEW have announced their participation in the Printing United Expo at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida, which runs from October 6-8, 2021.
The show boasts one million square feet of solutions across all printing industry segments, with networking opportunities and events, and best-in-class educational sessions. With all of this in mind, a virtual Expo Wrap-Up will also be available online immediately after the live expo, to enable visitors to review anything missed while on the show floor.
GEW will be showcasing their full product range with an emphasis on the latest LeoLED UV curing systems, particularly for sheetfed offset applications. Gary Doman, GEWs International Sales Manager for Sheetfed, explains: “GEW is now the default UV curing solution for all RMGT presses and we are delighted to be able to report that our LeoLED UV system will be demonstrated live on an RMGT 9-series press at the GSNA booth, directly adjacent to GEWs booth. This will give visitors an opportunity to witness the impressive power and flexibility of LeoLED at first-hand, and in a working environment.”
GEW will also feature their LED and mercury arc systems for a broad range of printing, coating and converting applications, including interchangeable ArcLED systems which enable the use of both arc and LED curing technologies on the same press. GEWs Business Development Manager, Jennifer Heathcote, comments: “GEW engineers UV curing systems for commercial, packaging, and graphics printing across offset, screen, digital inkjet, and flexo. If it can be cured with UV, we have the solution
and with over 20,000 GEW systems now installed globally, we have the design and engineering expertise to handle all manner of bespoke customer requirements.”
