Full speed ahead towards the future: Digital communication at Marbach
Tuesday 27. July 2021 - In this context, the topic of digitalization and Industry 4.0 is an important part of the current development work - both in tooling technology and in the services of the corporate group. However, not only Marbachs portfolio is becoming increasingly digital, but also its communication.
The globally active diemaker Marbach supplies packaging manufacturers of folding boxes and corrugated packaging with tools and also offers them a wide range of die-cutting services.
Tina Dost, Marketing Manager at Marbach: “We were already well positioned online with our website and active in various social media before the pandemic. But after classic platforms, such as our industry exhibition drupa, were cancelled from one day to the next, we decided to react quickly and make our communication even more digital.”
The company website was launched at the last drupa in 2016 and received a facelift last year. In order to offer customers even more information, Marbach added another platform at the end of 2020: the Marbach Experience Hub. Dost continues, “Our Experience Hub is a perfect complement to the existing website. It is specifically tailored to the interests of the die- cutting of folding cartons and corrugated board sectors and offers many added values such as white papers, exclusive studies and videos. We want to use it to offer our customers a platform where they can find out about trends in the industry and find all kinds of important information to make their day-to-day work easier.”
This concept is complemented by a social media strategy, which since last year has focused primarily on the LinkedIn portal, which has benefited significantly from the pandemic digitalization push in 2020. In addition, Marbach offers Web Sessions, which take place on different topics related to die-cutting folding cartons and corrugated board. Dost: “The web sessions are characterized above all by the fact that not only theoretical knowledge is shared, but also a live demonstration on the die-cutting machine takes place each time. This added value excites our customers, as a result of which we continue to experience increasing numbers of participants.”
The overall concept of digital communication at Marbach is working: the combination of website, Experience Hub, social media, web sessions and on-demand videos provides customers with a diverse information base.
