About Innovate Textile & Apparel 2020
Innovate Textile & Apparel 2020 is a new virtual event built from scratch with COVID-19 restrictions in mind. The event, stretching across 15 days, is rich with various conferences and seminars for users to attend. There are booths that will be rendered in 3D, which is how exhibitors will be able to show off graphics and interactive media.
Users can chat with exhibitors and ask them questions live, increasing exposure and possible customer interest. Alongside this, there will also be daily newsreels analysis for those that miss the day’s worth of activity, and plenty of ongoing competitions to retain hype throughout the event.
There are two virtual halls for visitors to enter and engage with: the Technology Hall and the Materials Hall. The Technology Hall will feature stalls from businesses and manufacturers offering services in weaving, knitting, printing, non-wovens, testing, software, embroidery, and more. By comparison, the Materials Hall is ideal for those companies in the art of fabrics, apparel, PPE, tactical textiles, fibres, and chemicals.
Working Throughout COVID-19
Following cancellations of many of the textile and apparel industry’s biggest events thanks to the 2020 pandemic, the Innovate Textile & Apparel 2020 conference was the perfect answer. This is because people are no longer required to travel and can attend the event across 15 days from the comfort of their own home. Similarly, businesses can advertise their wares and services safely and responsibly without the cost and stress of transporting goods and setting up a physical stall.
While it’s still a loss as face-to-face physical contact will always be preferential, the virtual Innovate Textile & Apparel 2020 exhibition is a worthy replacement and Focus Label is proud to be involved. Community is essential to our industry, so it’s great to see the Innovate Textile & Apparel 2020 as a bridge across the current troubled waters.
