From festive gift boxes to neutral gift packaging and baskets that can be used regardless of the season, to elegant carrier bags: the packaging specialist offers more than twenty new products in various designs for the coming season.

Most of them are part of the “Signed by Nature” product series, which combines contemporary aesthetics with ecological demands. “Sustainability is still a trend”, explains Anna Schumacher, member of the management board at Schumacher Packaging and the main person responsible for the gift packaging sector. “But this year, emotions also play a major role, as we had to forego personal contact with loved ones and valued people for a long time. Our atmospheric gift packaging underlines the feeling of reunion and appreciation.”
Great moments and best wishes for the festival of love
Expressing appreciation to family, friends and business partners is even more important to many of us this year than ever before. The elegant “Best Wishes” gift box is decorated with a golden hot-foil embossed lettering, which contrasts with the matt black background and skilfully sets the Christmas tree motif in gold and silver tones. Whether wine or sparkling wine: send your “best wishes” in two or three bottles, each with a matching outer carton suitable for mailing. The atmospheric part of this year’s Christmas motifs is taken over by the “Merry Christmas” design from the sustainable “Signed by Nature” series. The magic hut look, created using innovative digital printing with food-safe colours, creates a warm and homely atmosphere. Choose between the gift box in two sizes and the small gift box – all variants are suitable for postal dispatch thanks to the matching outer carton. As another festive novelty, Schumacher Packaging presents the new folding box series “Christmas Royal” for one, two or three bottles in traditional offset-printed red shades. “The highlight here is the modern interpretation of the decor of glittering stars and snow crystals, which stand out visually thanks to the 3D effect,” says Anna Schumacher. Schumacher Packaging also ensures that reunions with fellow human beings in the contemplative time of the year develop into a real “moment of glory” with the eponymous gift basket made of Open Wave in the colour Natura, from the four sides of which shiny golden stars shine. The gift basket is available in three sizes, whereby the large version also has punched-out handles.
Sustainable and inspired by nature
The new motif series “Country” is characterized by a completely natural-looking appearance. The extremely up-to-date wickerwork structure in warm brown and beige shades is particularly convincing with its three-dimensional character. Whether as a square gift basket in three different sizes or as a gift box for one to three bottles: The “Country” style à la “Signed by Nature” creates unforgettable and at the same time lasting gift experiences all year round. What has not been missing from any gift box collection from Schumacher Packaging in recent years is a product innovation from the successful “Vintage” series. The packaging specialist now also offers the popular hexagonal gift basket made of natural corrugated cardboard in the size “mini”. Its attractive wood motif is suitable for any occasion and, thanks to digital printing technology, looks deceptively real, both visually and haptically. Made of untreated recycled paper and printed with food grade colours, the “Vintage” gift basket is also 100 percent ecological and recyclable – typically “Signed by Nature”. “With this, we are once again making a clear statement in terms of sustainability,” emphasizes Anna Schumacher.
Environmentally conscious with Open Wave
Schumacher Packaging knows exactly how to arouse curiosity. Gift boxes as well as the “Style” carrier bag with a viewing window provide a view of the contents hidden inside and already give a small foretaste of the actual present. All made of open wave, these “Signed by Nature” products convince with their natural-looking appearance. The elegant carrier bag with a semi-circular handle is ideal for a bottle or for mixed gifts and is now available in the colour Natura. The “triangular packaging” as well as the “gift box with window” are available in Open Wave Anthracite. The latter can even be sent by post thanks to the matching outer carton. This also applies to the “Gift box small”, which Schumacher Packaging is now offering in Open Wave in Natura and in anthracite. It is ideal for small gifts, mixed gifts or a Bocksbeutel bottle.
